1 Corinthians

1 Corinthians 16:22

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!

If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed!
If anyone does not love the Lord, does not obey and respect and believe in Jesus Christ and His message, he is to be accursed.

Come, Lord!
Maranatha, O our Lord, come!

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Stand firm.
Be steadfast.

Let nothing move you.
Be immovable.

Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Always excel in the work of the Lord, always doing your best and doing more than is needed, being continually aware that your labor, even to the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not futile nor wasted. It is never without purpose.

1 Corinthians 15:55-56

55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin by which it brings death is the law.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ.
