1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.
May the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose.
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
May your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and be found blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22
19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
Test them all.
Hold on to what is good.
Test all things carefully so you can recognize what is good.
