2 Corinthians

2 Corinthians 7:10

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

Ggodly sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow, the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe, produces death.
