James 5:19-20

19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save [l]a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

If one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this:
If anyone among you strays from the truth and falls into error and another one turns him back to God, let the latter one know that:

Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
The one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will save that one’s soul from death and cover a multitude of sins, obtain the pardon of the many sins committed by the one who has been restored.

James 5:16-18

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man, believer can accomplish much.
When put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power.

James 5:14-15

14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.
The prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick.

The Lord will raise them up.

If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
