Mark

Jesus to the Eleven: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned…“ [#Jesus #Preach #Gospel]

Mark 16:14-18

14
Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus to the Eleven:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Whoever believes in Me and is baptized will be saved from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment, but whoever does not believe will be condemned…”

Mark 14:32-42

32
Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
33
And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.
34
Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”

35
He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
36
And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

37
Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?
38
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

39
Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.
40
And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.

41
Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42
Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”

Jesus prayed to God the Father:
“Abba, Father, everything is possible for You. Take this cup of judgment from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.”
“Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup of judgment away from Me. But not what I will, but what You will.”

Mark 10:23-27

23
Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”

24
And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!

25
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

26
And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”

27
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

With people, as far as it depends on them, it could be impossible, but not with God.

Will God, all things are possible.
