Exodus

Exodus 15:2, 11, 22-26

2
The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;

11
“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like You, glorious in holiness,
Fearful in praises, doing wonders?

22
So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.

23
Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.

24
And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

25
So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them,

26
and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

God is our Strength.

God is our Defense.
God is our Song.

God is our Salvation.

Who among the gods is like our God? Who is like our God?
1.
Majestic in holiness
2.
Awesome in glory
Awesome in splendor
3.
Working wonders

If we:
1.
Listen carefully to the Lord our God
Listen diligently to the Lord our God

2.
Do what is right in His eyes
Do what is right in His sight

3.
Pay attention to His commands
Listen to His commands

4.
Keep all His decrees
Keep all His precepts and statues

He will not bring on us any of the diseases which He brought on the Egyptians, because He is the Lord who heals us.
He will not put on us any of the diseases which He put on the Egyptians, because He is the Lord who heals us.

Exodus 14:10-14

10
And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.

11
Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt?

12
Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”

13
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

14
The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Moses to the Israelites:
“Do not be afraid.

Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.
Be firm and you will see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today.

The Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again.

The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.
The Lord will fight for you; you only need to keep silent and remain calm.”
