Psalm 27:1, 5, 10, 14
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the Lord will take care of me.
Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
God is our Light.
God is our Salvation.
We need not fear anyone.
God is the Stronghold of our life.
God is our Refuge and Fortress.
We need not be afraid of anyone.
In the day of trouble, God will keep us safe in His dwelling.
In the day of trouble, God will hide us in His shelter.
God will hide us in the shelter of His sacred tent.
God will hide us in the secret place of His tent.
God will set us high upon a rock.
God will lift us up on a rock.
Even if our father and our mother forsake us, God will receive us.
Even if our father and our mother abandon us, God will take us up, adopt us as His children.
We must be strong and courageous and wait for and confidently expect the Lord.
