Psalm 46:1-3, 7, 10
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
God is our Refuge.
God is our Strength.
God is our mighty and impenetrable Strength.
God is our ever-present help in trouble.
God is our well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore we do not have to fear though
the earth give way
the earth should change
the mountains fall into the heart of the sea
the mountains are shaken and slip into the heart of the sea
the waters of the roar and foam
the mountains quake with their surging
the mountains tremble at its roaring
The Lord Almighty is with us.
The Lord of hosts is with us.
The God of Jacob is our Fortress.
The God of Jacob is our Stronghold, our Refuge, our High Tower.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
Be still and know, recognize, understand that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth.”
