Job 5:9, 17-19
Who does great things, and unsearchable,
Marvelous things without number.
“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
For He bruises, but He binds up;
He wounds, but His hands make whole.
He shall deliver you in six troubles,
Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.
God performs wonders that cannot be fathomed.
God performs miracles that cannot be counted.
Blessed is the one whom God corrects.
So we should do not despise or reject the discipline of the Almighty subjecting us to trial and suffering.
God inflicts pain, but He also binds us up and gives us relief.
God wounds us, but His hands also heal us.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
We may have many troubles.
We may be confronted with many hardships and perplexing circumstances.
But God will deliver us from all of them.
But God will rescue us from all of them.
God will protect all our bones.
God will keep all our bones.
Not one of them will be broken.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
When we cry out, God will hears us.
When we cry for help, God will hears us.
He will deliver us from all our distress and troubles.
He will rescue us from all our distress and troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
The Lord is near to the heartbroken.
The Lord saves those who are crushed in spirit.
The Lord saves those who are contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin.
