When He [Christ] was reviled, He did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.

1 Peter 2:23

who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

When they hurled their insults at Christ, He did not retaliate.
While being reviled and insulted, Chist did not revile or insult in return.

When He suffered, He made no threats.
While suffering, He made no threats of vengeance.

Instead, He entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly.
But kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges fairly.
